If you already know calligraphy, know someone who does, or just love the touch of the hand, then calligraphy is a great option for your cards. You can buy blank cards at most stationery stores or online and print them by hand.
Doing them yourself or through a friend will be very beneficial, although even professional calligraphers can be hired. Costs vary significantly, but you should expect to pay them

Printed place cards are the last option – usually you upload your guest list somewhere and the place cards are sent to you. Printed cards are usually more expensive than printed cards, and you’ll need to plan a little more because you’ll have to wait for them to ship (or pay a hefty shipping premium). However, printed cards can be better overall – you just pay for them.

I liked the design and the template was very easy to use. I just wish I had duplicated the template multiple times so I could have 1 file of 30 pages instead of working with one page of 4 names at a time. I had to save each file as a pdf and then go to the other 4 names and save each page as a pdf. When I was done, I had 27 pdfs, so I was able to send them to a stapler printing center. I find that this template is actually best used if you print them on your printer and don’t go to a print shop. But I was still happy with how they looked!
