Where Did God Come From – “Where did God come from?” is one of the most common questions an atheist could ask a Christian. So, who created God? Also, when did God begin? Since God is eternal, the question itself is fundamentally misleading.
God did not appear out of nowhere, and He did not make Himself. It didn’t just appear out of thin air. According to the Bible, God has always existed. The idea of God’s existence is something we can only partially understand.
Where Did God Come From
According to the Bible, he has lived forever: “…even from eternity to eternity, you are God” (Psalm 90:2). “Your kingdom has been established from the ages; You are from eternity,” he continues (Psalm 93:2). God has no beginning or end. So, where did God come from?
Who Is Jehovah?
The term “god” has a somewhat mysterious origin. The Greek word for “to pour” is the source of the word in our English language. However, it may also have absorbed elements from other languages and civilizations. In fact, the idea of God being around was much earlier.
Our God has many names in Hebrew, but the first of the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:3), which forbids the worship of any other gods except the one true God, uses the word “Elohim ” to refer to a false deity.
The term is often used to refer to divine or political authorities. Other names for God found in the Old and New Testaments include those that already exist, such as Jehovah/Yahweh (Genesis 2:8), Adonai (Genesis 15:2), Lord, and Master.
The very first sentence of the Bible uses the Hebrew term for God, “Elohim.” When we pray to Elohim [1], we remember that he is the one who created the heavens and the earth and who distinguished between light and darkness, water and dry land, and day and night. The idea of God’s creative power, as well as his authority and sovereignty, is conveyed by this old name for him.
The Meaning Of Philippians 4:19:
In his agonizing plea from the cross, Jesus Christ used a noun variation. The plural version of El or Eloah, one of the earliest names for deity in the world, Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? “—which translates as “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me”—about the ninth hour.
The Hebrew name for the God of Israel, “YHWH,” which Moses was allowed to use in the book of Exodus, is represented by the term “Yahweh” in the Bible. The tetragrammaton is the word YHWH, which contains the consonants Yod, Heh, Waw, and Heh.
The more popular Hebrew term Elohim, meaning “God,” tends to replace Yahweh to emphasize the universal sovereignty of the God of Israel over all others as Judaism develops into a world religion rather than just a local religion . At the same time, it was increasingly thought that the divine name was too sacred to speak. So instead of the Hebrew phrase Adonai (“My Lord”) in the synagogue liturgy.
God created the universe (Genesis 1:1). Through him all things were created (Romans 11:36). And it provides for all life. Every living creature has a limited lifespan and depends on it to exist. It does not depend on anything for its existence because it is limitless.
Ascension Of Jesus
He is not only the Creator but also our Father. As a deist perspective might suggest, he didn’t just create everything, sit back, and let the world take its course. Instead, he incorporated himself into the story.
Our understanding of time is linear. On charts, early time is on the left, and later is on the right. We’ve all seen these timelines. Nations, individuals, and plans are depicted as straight lines running from left to right. We observe a beginning and an end. But God has no beginning or end as he is “beyond the chart.” It just always has been.
According to the Bible, no one has created God. It is eternal by nature. It was not created at all. He was, He is, and He always will be. He did not earn the title of God and he did not receive from a higher power – the fatherhood of God. It has no beginning and no end. In the Bible, it is emphasized that God is eternal.
On the basis of the Christian faith, we assume that God’s existence must be triggered in the same way. However, He is causeless. One must begin by assuming a first cause or no cause. It must be concluded that something material has existed from all eternity if He is not recognized as existing eternally.

How do we know that God is different or the same as the gods of other religions? According to the groups that proposed this claim, some of these gods are omnipotent or omniscient since the universe began. However, the main difference between the Christian God and the gods of other religions is His relationship with His followers.
The Christian God has a relationship with his followers, which is the main difference between him and the gods of other religions. A relationship is defined as an interaction between two people that involves communication. Being a Christian ensures that you accept that. We assume that God hears your prayers and responds politely.
The mythological gods are famous for having big egos. If you say the wrong thing or treat them disrespectfully, they will turn you into nothing. For example, Zeus was believed to put an end to all evildoers and oath breakers. You and I would be doomed if Zeus were real. But the God of the Bible is not like that. The Christian God is amazingly humble.
Creation Is Just As Viable, If Not More
All the other gods are famous for being egotistical and narcissistic. They are only concerned with themselves and their personal development. But the Christian God is not like that. The Christian God cares about you, your future, and your right to go to heaven.
The Christian God desires a personal connection with his creation. No other god would be willing to take on the characteristics of a man, let alone die a horrible death, just to interact with their creation. That is not seen in other religions.
The religious writings of our God are more appropriate in terms of science, history, and prophecy than the writings of any other religion. Texting doesn’t completely confirm someone’s existence, but it does increase the likelihood.
Other religions face a few doctrinal problems. If there is only one God, they must have been bored or lonely to create. As a result, God would become dependent on his creation. Since there cannot be one mighty among many gods, their strength is limited. However, if God is one but has three individuals in him (the Trinity), he remains omnipotent and produces out of love rather than out of need.
Second Coming Of Jesus Christ
Since the beginning of time, God has existed. There is nothing that made it come into being, and it has no beginning, and it will have no end. According to the Bible, there is an almighty, personal God. The only option is to claim that certain material has existed forever.
In other words, if matter is not eternal and cannot create itself, the only logical conclusion is that the material universe and everything in it was produced by something or someone supernatural. “The eternal God, the Lord, Creator of the ends of the earth” is how Christians refer to this Someone (Isaiah 40:28).

In a long, detailed and meticulously researched book, “God: An Anatomy,” Francesca Stavrakopoulou digs into this dilemma; as corporeal creatures, she argues, we must somehow reincarnate this mad divinity, see it as our ancestors did and bring it down to earth. He then proceeds, in 21 informative and insightful chapters, to “anatomize” the divinity from head to toe, beginning with the “long stones” that marked the footprints of gods in the Age Late Bronze and Early Iron Age and ending with images of God that enabled people to imagine that they were somehow communing with him “face to face.”
The Life And Mission Of Jesus Christ
This communion could be a physically overwhelming experience. When in the ninth century B.C. the king of Babylon came to the presence of a difficult image of Samash, “his heart rejoiced, and his face was shining.” Not only did Moses see Yahweh, the God of Israel, and he also spoke and communed with him on Mount Sinai for 40 days – but the physical, visual intensity of his connection with Yahweh transformed Moses’ own face when he came down oh. the mountain
